Beyond film, Jamiu is deeply committed to community development, youth empowerment, and service within the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria. He has served in various strategic and developmental capacities within the Society—supporting programme planning, committee initiatives, Islamic education drives, youth mentorship activities, and community-strengthening projects.
